    Within the Slingwise marketplace, you will find experts providing paid advice and businesses offering free discovery calls or free sales advice to promote their products or services. 

    A discovery call is free of charge and offered by sales advisors to assist your customer journey in finding the right products or services for you (for example for a mortgage, an insurance product, luxury travel, notary services etc).

    Paid advice is advice provided by advisors to help you in your quest for life or business improvement such as lawyers, business coaches, startup experts etc.

    Schedule an appointment

    Depending on the expert, you can schedule a consult by integrated Slingwise live video or Slingwise chat, an office visit, or a phone call. Each expert has set a minimum consult time. A Slingwise account is automatically created for you after your first booking or by creating an account here. 

    Some advisors providing paid advisors will offer you a voucher for a certain number of minutes of free advice first. Depending on the advisor’s settings, this will enable you to get to know the advisor first, before the clock starts for paid advice.

    Connect with your expert

    You can find all your appointments for advice, in your Slingwise dashboard together with your (if applicable) payment details, scheduled booking, live video consult link, option to chat with your expert etc. After your advice appointment has come to pass, the total amount due will be calculated based on the actual consult time.

    Slingwise live video works seamlessly in your browser. No software needs to be downloaded.
    In your dashboard, under your booking,g you can find your recorded live video consults, chat records with your expert, and captured screenshots with notes from your expert taken.

    Open minds are strongly encouraged. There’s no use allowing the conversation to turn harsh. It’ll get no one anywhere. If things start going off the tracks, it’s sometimes best to wrap it up and move on.

    Being on time shows respect and eagerness to meet the other person, which always sets things off on the right foot. We understand, things come up. Please do your best to re-schedule or cancel your appointment so as to free up time for the other person. Paid advise needs to be cancelled 24 hours after its scheduled and can be rescheduled 8 hours before the meeting starts.

    The reason you’re here is to give or receive expert advice, not to sell your product. If you made an appointment with an sales advisor for a free discovery call for a service or product then please have to courtesy to pay attention of what that person has to offer you.

    Slingwise cannot be held responsible for the performance of its participating experts. You cannot get a refund. You can always leave your review on Slingwise for any advisor you consulted.

    Within the Slingwise marketplace you will find experts providing paid advice and businesses  providing free sales advices to promote their products or services.

    After you booked and paid your expert for one of the offered time slots (time slots are created by experts) the expert’s agenda will be scheduled. After your consult, the total time you spend on your consultation is deducted from your previous booked and paid timeslot. The remaining outstanding balance will be charged in the same manner as your initial booked timeslot by our payment service provider Stripe.

    Ps. There is no guarantee the expert you booked has time to stay for a longer consultation beyond your initial booked timeslot.

    In case of a paid booking: You can cancel your booking 24 hours after booking your paid advice without losing the paid amount and reschedule until 8 hours before your scheduled consult starts. If you cancel your paid advice after the said 24 hours you will not be reimbursed. 

    In case of an discovery call: You can cancel or reschedule your booking at any time. Log in to your dashboard and select the bookings you want to cancel or reschedule, in there you will find the reschedule calendar and cancel button.

    Yes you can. Log in to your dashboard and select your booking. Next you can send an invitation email to your guest.
